The planks additional perforations and surface are designed to help remove the sand & dirt from work boots as well. The planks are galvanized to prevent rust and the railings underneath the plank are closed to prevent debris & sand from accumulating in the plank. Overall, this is a great solution for cleaning & sandblasting environements as the plank allows the debris to fall to the ground between the plank's wider openings.
